Botox® Cosmetic is an injectable solution that, when injected subcutaneously into the forehead, next to the eyes, or around the mouth, smoothes and even eliminates even the deepest frown lines and furrows that contribute to the appearance of aging.

Botox® Cosmetic is a purified protein that, when injected, causes the muscles to relax, leaving you with a smoother, more youthful look.

The Botox® Cosmetic procedure takes about ten minutes, from beginning to end. Dr. Barber will carefully inject small amounts of the solution into your brow, the corner of your eyes, or around your mouth, after which you can immediately return to your normal activities.

Over the course of the next couple of days, the Botox® Cosmetic will take its full effect, smoothing out deep wrinkles and furrows, and leaving you looking happier and younger for as long as four months following the treatment.

The effects of Botox® Cosmetic are long-lasting, but not permanent. Once the initial treatment begins to wear off, many patients opt to have repeat procedures.
